GetFileExtension Procedure

Table File Settings

Gets the file extension for the current File Settings.

Signature

GetFileExtension() : Text[10]

Returns

Text[10]

The file extension for the current File Settings. If a custom File Extension value is specified, this is returned, otherwise a file extension corresponding to the Data Type value is returned.

Remarks

The default return values are "xlsx" for Excel files, "csv" for Delimited files and "txt" for Fixed Width files.
