Getting Started

To be able to start using Sales & Finance for Badger the following need to be done:

Install the Microsoft Dynamic Business Central App Badger

Badger can be installed in Business Central, just navigate to the AppSource page for Badger and install. See Getting Started with Badger in Business Central

Install the Power BI App Sales & Finance for Badger

  1. Go to Power BI and log in.
  2. Click on Apps in the menu.
  3. Click on Get apps.
  4. Search for Sales & Finance for Badger and click on the app.
  5. Click on the Get It Now button and the app will be added as a Workspace in Power BI

Connect Sales & Finance for Badger to Badger

  1. Get the OData V4 URL from Badger
    1. Open Business Central
    2. Choose the search icon in Business Central and enter Badger Setup, and then choose the related link.
    3. On FastTab Get started with Badger, select and copy the Connection URL for OData feed link.
  2. Go to Power BI and log in.
  3. Click on Workspace in the menu.
  4. Select the Sales & Finance for Badger workspace in the menu.
  5. A yellow banner will be visible at the top of the page, click on the link Connect your data.
  6. Paste the OData V4 URL that was copied from Badger (Connection to Business Central)
  7. Choose Authentication method OAuth2 and click on Sign in and connect
