New Date Fields on Contracts
In version 26.0 of Parrot, new fields are added and the Next Posting Date field is renamed (only the caption is changed).

Note
Previously, the Next Posting Date field determined when the next action was due and when the next invoicing period started. It also set the date for posting and deferrals. If no Date Setup code is specified, the Next Period Start field will function in the same way.

| Date Setup Code | Optionally add a date setup code to configure how the Next Action Date is calculated and which date to use for posting and deferrals. |
Important
In version 26.0, the Next Action Date field replaces the Next Posting Date (now Next Period Start) in the Create Documents/Planning Lines from Contracts batch job to filter which contracts to process. If no Date Setup Code is specified on the contracts, the Next Action Date will always match the Next Period Start.
