New Sales Pricing Feature

Microsoft has released a new enhanced sales pricing experience to set and manage prices and discounts in Dynamics 365 Business Central. Users who have an app from SmartApps can choose to continue using the old pricing feature or enable the new pricing feature.

Note

All apps from SmartApps supports both the old and the new sales pricing experience.

Important

If you enable the new sales pricing experience, you will not be able to use the old pricing functionality in Dynamics 365 Business Central. When the new sales pricing experience is enabled, the prices and discounts will be migrated to the new tables in Business Central in the current company. You need to open the other companies to complete the task.

Tip

We recommended that you enable and test the new sales pricing experience on a sandbox environment before doing this on a production environment.

Warning

If you use an app that is not delivered by SmartApps, please check that it supports the new pricing experience before enabling the new experience.

Enable the new pricing experience

  1. Choose the search icon (ALT+Q), enter Feature Management, and then choose the related link.
  2. Find the New sales pricing experience feature.
  3. Select All Users in the Enable for column.
